Artist Statement: My name is Christopher Crebbin and I am an urban Aboriginal artist. Painting under my Aboriginal name “Burthurmarr”(meaning Brolga and native companion). I paint stories of the past and present all the while looking forward to the future. Gaining inspiration from my family and the environment we live in. I enjoy working with colour and texture, experimenting with light and shade, and how it affects people on an emotional level.
